457 Participant Education. ICMA-RC's "457 Deferred Compensation: Your Questions Answered" is an online video series that provides public sector employees with answers to frequently asked questions about 457 retirement plans, basic investing concepts, and ICMA-RC's role as a plan administrator. The video series is intended to help public employees make educated decisions about saving for retirement. You may view it online.

Scholarship Fund Awards. The Vantagepoint Public Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund Board of Directors has approved 37 scholarship awards for the 2009-10 school year totaling $75,000. ICMA-RC established the Fund in 2001 to honor the lives of city, county and state government employees who have died in service to their communities. Visit the Web site to learn more.
